In today's uncertain world, there a few things you can rely on:
- You can be certain that yes, you should have made sure there was
nothing stuck in your teeth before you went into that meeting;
- That, at least once in your life, you definitely would have been
better off if you had checked to make sure the brake was on before you
got out of your car/train;
- That at some age you will start to get hair growing out of your
nose;
- That my email message announcing bridge will be late;
and,
- That you will be welcome at bridge tomorrow, Thursday, 8 p.m., at the
Pink Palace
